After I received the feedback for the assignment, I needed to clairfy which one to choose.

Standpoint or perspective.

I'd say, I want to go with Research Standpoint. I want to initiate this research proect to explore experiences of older adults and find out what would be an ideal solution to improve technology literacy that they have.

What is a standpoint in research?

An approach that starts with a focus on experience, arguing that groups of individuals share distinct experiences and that the 'truth' of that experience can be uncovered. ... Standpoint research is founded on foundationalist perspectives based on an insistence that 'truth exists independently of the knower'

What is an example of standpoint theory?
Standpoint epistemology—or, more generally, standpoint theory—is concerned with the impact of one's location in society on one's ability to know. Because men and women, for example, are gendered differently and accordingly have different experiences, how they know and what they are capable of knowing will differ.

What is a perspective in research?

Researcher Perspective refers to the viewpoint of a particular stakeholder in the relevant domain, which is adopted by the researcher as the viewpoint from which to observe phenomena during the conduct of a research project.
