티스토리 뷰
I came to have this idea when I worked at a design agency in the beginning of my designer career. The studio had open and wide space and it had a window ceiling. The generous amount of light was good but it didn’t have windows and I often had headaches due to bad air quality. At that time I just started my career as a designer and there were so many tasks to learn but the physical environment added extra stress toward the job.
During the pandemic, I heard the hardships and stress of caregivers. I read an article that said, the caregivers work at various Long Term Care homes and they move around a lot.
It made me think that they must be exhausted during their trips from place to place and the resting space would provide rest space. It would reduce their stress level and enhance the service quality they provide for older adults and it is also good for their own health.
I want to research further in air condition systems and smart lighting devices for the optimal relaxation space for health care workers.
Maybe comfy chairs, fresh air and warm light must be enough for this?
